W1: "The World I Want to Live In"
The world I want to live in is a world filled with warmth, not from the sun, but from people. A world where everyone, no matter their background, gender, or beliefs, feels welcomed, respected, and safe. That is the world I aspire to live in: a peaceful, just, and inclusive one.
🌍 What Would This World Look, Sound, and Feel Like?
In
this world, there are no sounds of bombs, gunshots, or angry shouting. You can
hear children laughing in the park, music in the streets, and kind
conversations between strangers. You would walk down the road without fear of
being judged, hurt, or excluded.
The
community I imagine is like a big family. People help one another without
expecting anything in return. Neighbors know each other’s names, children play
together no matter their race or religion, and everyone feels like they belong.
No one is left out. Everyone has food to eat, a place to stay, and someone who
cares about them.
Justice
is not just an idea; it’s real and lived. In this world, everyone is treated
equally under the law. No one gets special treatment or just because they are
rich, powerful, or influential. There is also no gender discrimination. No
matter whether your boys or girls, everyone is treated equally. No one says,
“You can’t do this because you are a girl,” or “Only boys can be leaders.”
Everyone has the same chances.
The image is full of smiling people of different races, genders, and ages walking together peacefully in a green, clean city.
Everyone is holding hands, talking, or riding bikes. No one is left out, and there's no sign of conflict, violence, or injustice. This reflects a fair and united community where everyone feels safe and respected.
The city is well-organized with clean energy sources like solar panels and wind turbines. These symbolize responsible leadership and institutions that care about sustainability, fairness, and protecting future generations.
🕊️ Values and Laws That Shape This World
This
world is built on values like equality, compassion, love, respect, and honesty.
People follow the rules, not because they are afraid, but because they care
about others. No one steals or cheats because they know it’s wrong. Instead of
hurting others, people help one another.
There
is no war. Problems are solved by talking and listening, not fighting. Leaders
care more about people than power. Gender does not limit opportunities;
everyone from different races, identities, and backgrounds is given equal space
to shine.
Animals
are protected too. Animal abuse is unheard of because everyone in this
world treats all living beings with care. Stray animals are rescued instead of
being ignored. Wildlife is preserved, not exploited.
💗 Why This World Matters to Me
This
dream matters to me because I’ve seen the opposite in real life. I’ve seen
crimes like murder, war, and bullying happen in so many places. I’ve seen how
people are bullied just for being different. I’ve heard cruel words used
against others because of how they look, who they love, their skin color, or
where they come from.
I’ve
also seen many video scenes about the war happening in Gaza, the pain, and how
innocent people are suffering. It's broken my heart, the world was so
unfair, and it makes me wonder, “Why do people treat each other this way?”
All
of this makes me wish for a better world even more. A world where no one has to
live in fear, and where kindness, fairness, and peace are the most important
things instead of money, power, and hate.
⚠️ What Stops This World from Becoming Real?
So,
if this world sounds so beautiful, why can’t it become real?
The
answer is complicated. The biggest challenge is human nature. Everyone has
different thoughts, beliefs, and priorities. Some people choose selfishness
over kindness. Some want power and wealth more than peace. Sadly, reality
often supports the powerful, not the fair.
✨ Supporting SDG 16
This
dream world supports Sustainable Development Goal 16, which is
about promoting peace, justice, and strong institutions. It reminds us how
important it is to build a world without violence, where laws protect everyone
fairly, no matter who they are, and they can live in safety and dignity.
In
the end, the world I want to live in may not exist yet, but every act of
kindness, every stand against injustice, and every small effort to understand
others brings us closer. I believe we can build this world together, little by
little, if we start with ourselves.
Because
peace is not just a dream. It’s a choice.
