W5 : The School that Runs on Kindness and Solar Power

Image
🍏 Big Apple School in year 2050 In the year 2050, there stands a school unlike any other school. Big Apple School doesn’t just teach science, math and language. It teaches kindness, sustainability, and the beauty of being different. This school is powered entirely by renewable energy; it is a living example of how education can change lives and create a better future for the earth. Figure 1 An AI-Generated Image of the Big Apple School      At first glance, Big Apple looks like a mix between a natural reserve and a futuristic tech campus. The entire school is designed in the shape of a giant apple , with smooth, curved surfaces that gleam in the sunlight. Solar panels are embedded across the surface of the building and it cover by green plants, blending seamlessly with the apple-like structure. While wind turbines spin quietly all around the building, capturing clean energy from every breeze. The buildings are made of recycled materials, even the walkways generate en...

W4: My Hero Fights Hunger

Image
🌾 Auntie May: The Grandma Who Fights Hunger      In a quiet, remote village tucked deep in rural China, where supermarkets are a distant dream and the younger generation has mostly moved away, lives a woman with silver hair tied in a bun, whose hands are rough from years of farming but whose heart is full of kindness. They call her Auntie May, not because they’re related but because she has become family to everyone in the village. While many elderly people in her village struggle with food shortages and loneliness, Auntie May becomes a symbol of hope, growing food not just for herself but for her whole community. She’s not rich, not famous, and not equipped with advanced tools, but she is quietly leading a food revolution in her own backyard. Figure 1 An Ai-generated image of Auntie May      The village where Auntie May lives is considered a “food desert.” There’s no market, no deliveries, no fresh greens but just dusty soil, aching backs, and...

W3: A Day Without Water

Date:Saturday,July5,2025 Location: Kuala Lumpur (KL), Malaysia      This morning started just like any other lazy Saturday. I had planned to finally enjoy a free weekend, go out, and maybe explore a new café. I stretched, yawned, and went straight to the bathroom to freshen up, but when I turned on the tap. I was shocked because there’s not a single drop of water coming out. I stared in confusion for a second, then quickly grabbed my phone to see what was going on.      That’s when I saw it “ Kuala Lumpur to face one-day water cut due to extreme heat and prolonged drought. ” I was shocked.  I'm living alone in Kuala Lumpur for my studies. I rarely read the news because I was used to having my parents, especially my mom, handle these kinds of things back home. I had no idea this was coming and this the first time I'm facing this situation alone, I hadn’t stored even a single bucket of water.      My perfect Saturday was ruined. ...

W2: My Invention to Save the Earth

Image
AquaGuard : The Ocean's Smartest Sharks The ocean is the heart of our planet, yet every year, millions of tons of plastic and oil spill into our oceans. This makes the sea dirty, harms marine life and accelerates climate change. To help save the Earth, I invented a special robot called AquaGuard. It looks like a shark, but it’s not dangerous, it’s here to clean the ocean and protect sea life. AquaGuard is inspired by Sustainable Development Goal 14, which is all about protecting life below water. 🦈 Design & Purpose Figure 1: An AI-generated image of  the concept of AquaGuard The AquaGuard looks and swims like a real shark to blend in naturally with sea life. It’s made of ocean-friendly, corrosion-resistant materials and is powered fully by solar energy. Large solar panels are built into their back to charge itself while it swims near the surface, this allowing it to workday after day without harming the environment. The AquaGuard robot's "belly" acts like ...

W1: "The World I Want to Live In"

Image
The world I want to live in is a world filled with warmth, not from the sun, but from people. A world where everyone, no matter their background, gender, or beliefs, feels welcomed, respected, and safe. That is the world I aspire to live in: a peaceful, just, and inclusive one. 🌍 What Would This World Look, Sound, and Feel Like? In this world, there are no sounds of bombs, gunshots, or angry shouting. You can hear children laughing in the park, music in the streets, and kind conversations between strangers. You would walk down the road without fear of being judged, hurt, or excluded. The community I imagine is like a big family. People help one another without expecting anything in return. Neighbors know each other’s names, children play together no matter their race or religion, and everyone feels like they belong. No one is left out. Everyone has food to eat, a place to stay, and someone who cares about them. Justice is not just an idea; it’s real and lived. In this world, e...
